NASCAR One & Done Pick for Pocono

Facebooktwitter

The Cup Series will travel to Pocono Raceway this weekend to try and solve the “Tricky Triangle”. This is race No. 21 on the 2023 schedule and that means most of our top drivers have been used in the One & Done game. It is going to get tougher in these final regular season races and in the Cup Series Playoffs. I have the picks mapped out so that we have drivers matched up with some of their best tracks. All we need is a little help from the Fantasy NASCAR Gods to keep the weather from ruining our races. The HighPoint.com 400 can be seen Sunday at 2:30 p.m. on USA Network.

ONE & DONE CONTESTS

This pick is for games where you can only use a driver once throughout the season.

WILLIAM BYRON will be my pick in all One & Done game at Pocono. I went all in with Christopher Bell last week and it backfired. I am doing it again this week with the No. 24 car. Byron has four wins this year. I hope I did not wait too long to use the No. 24 car. Byron leads the Cup Series with a 9.4 average finishing position at Pocono. The No. 24 car looks fast again this weekend. Byron posted the third-fastest speed in his group in practice and won the pole for the race. His pit crew has been lightning fast this year. Willy-B is going to be tough to beat from the No. 1 pit stall.

 * I already used William Byron in the games that reset once the playoffs begin. I switched that pick to Bubba Wallace.

There are some other drivers I like if you cannot use William Byron. I also like Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Ty Gibbs and Ryan Blaney (in that order).

Good luck Sunday!
