Well this should be interesting. Some of the drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series have trouble turning laps on the road courses when they have a full day of practice. Now we get to see how they can do on a road course track that many of the drivers have never competed on. And oh yeah, they get to do this without any practice. It should be exciting to watch. The Go Bowling 235 can be seen Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.
Last Race: I decided to roll the dice with Bubba Wallace at Michigan. I was hoping he could repeat his top-10 finish from the race Saturday. That was not to be. Wallace spent most of the day running right inside the top 20 and finished 21st. I was hoping for a lot better from him.
Here are my picks for the Go Bowling 235 …

My One & Done Pick for Daytona Roval: Michael McDowell
Michael McDowell will be my One & Done pick for the Daytona Roval. McDowell has a background of racing on road courses and he has had success on these tracks in his career. This track is going to be similar to the Charlotte Roval and McDowell finished 18th in 2018 and 12th last year in those races. McDowell should finish in the top 15 Sunday.
Jimmie Johnson will be my pick in games where you can use a driver more than once. Johnson has seven starts in the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona race on this track. He finished second in 2005 and 2008. Johnson also had a lot of success at the Charlotte Roval. He should have finished 1st or 2nd in 2018 but he spun out trying to pass Martin Truex Jr. on the last turn in 2018. Johnson returned to the Roval and finished 9th last year. He should be a threat to win Sunday.
Good luck this week!
