The Cup Series was schedule to have a short practice, followed by qualifying Saturday morning. Mother Nature did not cooperate, so the practice and qualifying sessions were canceled. The starting lineup was set “per the rulebook” and that places Alex Bowman on the pole. We do not have any on track data use to predict which drivers will be fast today, so I will focus on the data from the race at Phoenix and past track history at Phoenix for the picks. This is one of the shortest races of the season (300-miles), so track position will be important. It is a good idea to select the drivers starting up front, but I still expect drivers like Kevin Harvick to have a good race.
I analyzed all of the key stats and text a few friends who work in the NASCAR garage and now the Driver Group Game picks have been finalized.
