The Cup Series will race at Kansas Speedway Sunday. It is nice to see that the weather should not be an issue in the Heartland. The teams had a quick 20-minute practice session Saturday to shake down their cars. We got to see what kind of speed each team unloaded with. I am not using the practice speeds as the bible for my picks this week, but it does help handicap the race. I also considered the drivers starting position, because passing has been an issue for the Gen-7 car.
