There are only three races left in the Cup Series regular season. The racing is heating up as the teams try to secure their position in the playoffs. Can Martin Truex Jr. or Ryan Blaney finally win their first race and secure a spot in the playoffs? Both drivers dominated the first race at Richmond. It will be fun to see what happens this week. The Federated Auto Parts 400 can be seen Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network.
The Cup Series had their regular practice and qualifying session Saturday. The teams had 20 minutes to dial in their cars for the Federated Auto Parts 400 and then they set the starting lineup. The cars are impounded after qualifying so the speed the cars had in practice should be the speed the drivers will start the race with Sunday.
