NASCAR Driver Rankings for Martinsville

The Cup Series will complete the short track portion of their schedule when they race at Martinsville Speedway this week. The race at Martinsville will be the third race of the season on a short, flat track (Phoenix and Richmond are the other two races) and the third race using the new short track aero package. If you like beating and banging, the race at Martinsville is for you. The Cook Out 400 can be seen Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on FS1.

* Practice and qualifying is scheduled for 4:35 p.m. ET Saturday. I will try to get some of the picks posted after qualifying Saturday evening, but I have a Wrestle Mania Party to go to Saturday night. I will try to get the One & Done, Driver Group Game and Fantasy Live picks posted Saturday evening, but whatever picks are not posted Saturday, will be posted early Sunday morning. 

Martinsville is a rhythm race track. Some drivers just know how to get around the .5-mile track better than other. I will use the data from the two races at Martinsville last year and combine it with the data from the four races in the Gen-7 car at Martinsville. We cannot ignore what the teams have done in 2024 on the short, flat tracks. I will use the data from the Clash at the Coliseum, the race at Phoenix and the race last week at Richmond for the driver rankings at Martinsville.
