The Truck Series will continue their playoffs with a trip back to Kansas Speedway. The truckers last competed at Kansas in May with Grant Enfinger taking the checkered flag. This time it will be a cut-off race in the Round of 10. Ty Majeski clinched a spot in the Round of 8 with a win at Lucas Oil Raceway and Grant Enfinger clinched his spot with his win at the Milwaukee Mile. It will be fun to see which driver advance to the Round of 10 and continue their race for the 2023 Truck Series Championship.
PRACTICE / QUALIFYING
The Truck Series had a short practice session to shake down their trucks for the race Friday night. The practice and qualifying sessions were not on TV or streamed, so I am flying blind this week. I did follow the team post on Twitter (or X or whatever it is called now) to try to figure out who had speed and who had problems in practice. We can learn a bit by looking at the practice speeds for the Kansas Lottery 200.
Here are the lap times from the practice Friday’s practice at the Kansas Speedway…

DFS STRATEGY FOR MILWAUKEE
The Truck Series has competed at four 1.5-mile intermediate tracks this season (Las Vegas, Texas, Kansas and Charlotte). We can get a good idea of how the Kansas Lottery 200 will play out by looking at the data from the previous four races on the 1.5-mile tracks.
The trend this year in those races is for one driver to lead roughly 60 laps and score 28 fastest laps (27.6 dominator points) and another driver leads roughly 22 laps and scores 12 fastest laps (10.9 dominator points). I plan to pay up for at least two dominators in my lineups Friday night so I can score the 38 dominator points that these drivers are projected to score.
The drivers with the best chance to score dominator points today includes Ty Majeski, Nick Sanchez, Chase Purdy and Ben Rhodes
The drivers with the best chance to score place differential points include Corey Heim, Zane Smith, Carson Hocevar, Matt Crafton, Stewart Friessen, Taylor Gray, Bayley Currey, Colby Howard and Lawless Allen

DRIVER GROUP GAME PICKS
The Driver Group Game will once again have a contest for the Truck Series. It is easy to play. You simply select one driver from Group A, two drivers from Group B and one driver from Group C for your lineup. You can only use the drivers in Groups A & B six times throughout the season. You can only use the drivers in Group C five times throughout the season, so you have to use your allocations wisely. Here is the link to join: DGG Truck Series Game
