The Cup Series had 20-minutes to dial in their cars for the race Sunday. Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a 1.5-mile intermediate track. Tires wear out over a long run at this track. It is important to look at the speed each driver has in practice, but it is more important to focus on the drivers who can maintain their speed over a long run. The drivers who qualified up front and had speed in practice over the long runs are the drivers who are at the top of the ranks for the South Point Casino 400.
