The NASCAR Cup Series will play in the dirt this week at Bristol Motor Speedway. The race was as unpredictable as a race at Talladega and the people who took a chance with a driver like Ricky Stenhouse Jr. or Daniel Suarez were rewarded. I doubt the favorites will all crash each other like they did last year. The One & Done picks got off to a blazing hot start but they are starting to cool off. We need a good race Sunday night to get these picks back into the top-10.
Here is my One & Done pick for the Bristol Dirt Race…
ONE & DONE PICK FOR BRISTOL: RICKY STENHOUSE JR. was the only “dirt track expert” to finish in the top-five last year. Stenhouse started 13th and finished second. Now he starts 16th Sunday night with a good chance to finish in the top-10 again. We need to use Stenhouse sometime this year. Our choices are at the Superspeedway tracks. I can find other value picks at the Superspeedways so I will use Stenhouse this week.
DRIVER USE MORE THAN ONCE FOR BRISTOL: CHRISTOPHER BELL will be my pick where you can use a driver more than once and in games that reset at the end of the regular season. Bell is the best dirt track racer in the field not named Kyle Larson. Bell posted the fifth-fastest speed in practice and he won his heat race. The No. 20 car should have a good chance to win the race Sunday night from the front row.
Good Luck This Week!
