There are only seven races left in the Cup Series regular season. The racing is going to heat up over the summer months and it all starts this week at New Hampshire. This is the fourth race on a flat, intermediate track and the third in the last five races on the schedule. The teams should have plenty of notes to work with to make the race at the Magic Mile an exciting one. The Ambetter 301 can be seen Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network.
The Cup Series had their regular practice and qualifying session this week after not having any pre-race track time at Atlanta. The teams had 20 minutes to dial in their cars for the Ambetter 301 and then they set the starting lineup. The cars are impounded after qualifying so the speed the cars had in practice should be the speed the drivers will start the race with Sunday.
