Updated Driver Rankings for Watkins Glen

Facebooktwitter

There are only two races left in the Cup Series regular season. The racing is heating up as the teams try to secure their position in the playoffs. The races at Watkins Glen are typically won by the team who uses the perfect fuel strategy. The cream still rises to the top though because it takes a fast car to navigate this road course. There will be a lot of chaos in the Cup Series if Ryan Blaney, Martin Truex Jr., Michael McDowell or Chris Buescher makes it to in Victory Lane Sunday. It should be fun to watch. The Go Bowling at the Glen can be seen Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network.

The Cup Series had their group practice and qualifying session Saturday. The teams had 20 minutes to dial in their cars for the Go Bowling at the Glen and then they set the starting lineup. The cars that have run well on the road courses this year should be up front again Sunday.
